Hi there,

I can’t find a feature which creates an “X” after the CalenderSelection button to clear the date. I want to create an input field for an optional birthday specification. And if you want to clear the input its not very user friendly. Can be a good feature

Hi Chris,

You can use the showDeleteButton: true property to show a delete button.
```
 $("#jqxDateTimeInput").jqxDateTimeInput({
     width: '250px',
     height: '25px',
     theme: 'energyblue',
     showDeleteButton: true,
     showFooter:true
 });
```

Even a question: is it possible to open the calender in the “year”-view? not the montlyview?
