    Hello,
I am hoping to use the masked input for all of the following, SSN, DOB, Phone, and Currency. I currently have working the SSN, DOB, and Phone masks for each. The issue I am trying to overcome with the Currency is that it is not known how many numbers or commas may be used before the decimal. Is there a way to utilize the jqx-masked-input for a currency value?

    Thank you!

    Hi akelly,

I have set up a quick jsfiddle showcasing how to set the masked-input so that it may suit your needs if I understood you correctly.

    Link to the jsFiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/t1ys3eng/4/

Let me know if that works for you!

Thank you for the quick response Yavor.

I appreciate you giving the jsFiddle examples. Unfortunately for my use case I wont know how many numbers to set for the mask. The amount for the currency field could be anywhere between $1.00 – $100,000,000.00. So trying to see if this can be utilized in that way.

    Thanks!
    Alayna

    Hi Alayna,

Take my apologies that I did not understand your requirements completely the first time.

Unfortunately the jqxMaskkedInput doesn’t support the functionality that you need, but our other product SmartUI web components has a number input component with currency option which supports the functionality that you need.

Link to a demo of the SmartNumberInput component: https://www.htmlelements.com/demos/input/number-input/

Let me know if this suits you!

Please, do not hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions.
