jqwidgets and breeze js

Hello!

I saw an example on the following link: http://www.jqwidgets.com/jquery-widgets-documentation/documentation/breezejs/breezejs.htm where breeze and jqwidgets was used together. I saw that jqx.dataAdapter needs to be used for specifying the source of the elements. Does this mean that the change tracking part of breeze will not work with jqwidgets?

Hello Réka,

Please note that this is just one possible integration of both frameworks and it does not cover all functionalities. However, jqxGrid can only be bound to an instance of jqxDataAdapter (which is used to load the data from the source). You may also be interested in the recently added ‘obserableArray’ datatype. You can use it to load many types of widgets, including jqxGrid and jqxComboBox. This way, changes made in the grid will be reflected in the original data, too.
