Filter Row or Explicit Advanced Filtering?

Is there any way to have filtering in jqxDataTable like the jqxGrid filter row? (Advanced filter line is displayed beneath the header.)

Alternatively, is there any way to adjust jqxDataTable Advanced Filtering mode such that only the line of filters is displayed? (No grayed out top line, no Apply/Cancel button line.)
