We are seeing a similar issue, running JQWidgets 12.1.2 (yes, very old). This started with Chrome’s Sept 2023 update.
Our grids have up to 500 rows displayed, and over 100 columns.
Starting with the chrome update, specifically on user machines with minimal memory (8GB), we started getting reports of screens failing to redraw. Users report moving the mouse over the blank area will cause it to repaint.
We have not seen this issue with Firefox or (surprisingly) Edge. Upgrading to 16.0.0 does not seem to help the issue.
