Should this work on Chrome and IE 11?

I was able to get it to work using
.jqx-menu-wrapper { z-index:1850 !important; }
this allowed the filter popup window to open in a jqxGrid in a jqxWindow opened in modal view.
It also allowed the dropdowns inside the filter popup windows to open on top of the filter popup window.

I did this and it worked to get the popup filter menu to show up but now when I try to open the dropdowns on the filter menu they are covered by the filter menu.
Any ideas.
I am running jQWidgets v5.6.0 Release, February-09-2018

How would you do the same thing with a minus sign to start cell edit for when entering negative numbers.

I am having a similar issue I have a jqxWindow with a jqxGrid that contains a column of type combobox.
if I change a select a different value combobox and then close the jqxWindow the combobox cellvaluechanging event fires but I end up with a jqxcombobox.js:7 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘id’ of undefined.
