Please change the selectionmode property to multiplecellsadvanced and notice that when you select product, Order date also gets selected.

We have made the change as mentioned by flehmann and able to copy paste cells for IE.
I had one question regarding the same.
In the upcoming jQWidgets release, would we have this fix integrated? If not, would we need to remodify the code or we can do some work around.

Can you please try the scenario on Chrome browser?
My issue is that when you paste, for a second focus shifts to top of the page and not on the element and then returns to the element after a second.

Hi Peter,

I understand that browsers scroll to focused element.
That behavior works fine while copying but while pasting, the page resets to the top and then scrolls down to focused element and hence loses focus altogether.

I tried the enablebrowserselection property on your fiddle and my code too.
It works for the fiddle but sadly fails for my code.
I will try to check if any other property or so is preventing the fix.

Any further pointers will be appreciated.
