Through some try-and-error debugging by removing some code in my jsp page, I found that the problem was caused by some outer divs that sets the header, footer, navigation bars on my webpage, so the problem is caused by the combination of my page layout divs and the jqx widgets.

I can’t think why the widget stops working (and only on ie8) inside my layout divs. Could you give me some points as to how to debug/pinpoint this kind of issue?

Is it possible for your script to put the cursor after the first number, instead of before the first one, once the widget is loaded? Or can you provide some way so that we can use to change the position of the cursor?
