Thanks for the reply. How about the issue 1 of items running into each other, is there another way this can be done.

Also,

Drawing legend outside the widget is also a good idea however 2 issues in this :
1) How to do this : I mean is there a way to extract the colors for each of the legend and then draw it later ?
2) We also have “Export to Image” in this case how would we export this legend ?
