I am trying to deal with the same issue here, if the widget is for Angular one expect that it will be totally integrate.
About the API Documentation, a good start would be, at least, sort the API alphabetically. For more improvement, when a documentation of an API method mention another method from the same API or another, link it (a href tag), and maybe use something better to display the code examples.
