this post have been 3yrs already and I have to say yes I agree with them the documentation is really lacking alot of information to support the plugin usage I have tried to reload the datagrid with new data and triggered the updatebounddata but the sort and filter will still not work. I think it would really be better if you can atleast update your documentation to better help developers understand the api your plugin is providing especially for implementations like vuejs, reactjs and angularjs or if you have attached a functioning sample together with each method like this which is really essential on using the plugin.
