    All:

So far I like your toolkit, except when it comes to integrating it with other tool kits and it all has to do with the z-Index.

I first ran into the issue of the z-Index being locked to 9999 trying to use the menu, but since that widget was not really what I wanted out of your toolkit, I moved on to the grid.

I would enclose an image, which would be worth a thousand words, of the issue that I am having, where the filter popup shows behind the grid itself., but unfortunately you do not have a way to attach such image.

And before I write a thousand words: How do I control the z-Index of the widgets/popups/anything else included in the toolkit. By the way I am using 2.8.1 (commercial version) and if you want to see the image go here

    Hi,

I do not know how the filter can be shown behind the Grid, but if you have such scenario, then feel free to send a code which demonstrates it.

The issue that I have is that our app is fairly complex and I am not allowed to send you the code. I have made a fair amount of progress by modifying the js, all related to z-Index. At the moment, what is not working is the popups of popups (like the op drop down in the filter popup).

I believe that we will go ahead and purchase the source code option, which will make it a bit easier. Or at least I hope so… 🙂

    Thanks for responding.

    Hi,

If you edit the JS files and modify the z-index settings in the widgets, then we will not be able to help you as we work only with the official version. In addition, please make sure that you read our EULA, before making any changes in the scripts.

Well, I do not think that I will need to modify anything. The issue was in the JQuery (v 1.8.3) where the outerHeight() was returning god knows what and in turn parseInt of the result was returning NaN. A fresh version of JQuery fixed all of the issues.
