    Hello,

I was plugging along in Chrome/Firefox and decided I better test in IE8 before going further.

And of course IE8 I am having issues.

I have 2 level tree (parent with 1+ children) and none of the children show up.

This is in “IE8 Compatibility View” mode selected in IE Developer Tools (F12)

If I switch to “IE8” mode it’s fine..

    Any advice appreciated.

    Hi glford,

To test with IE8, you should either use IE8 or in the IE Developer Tools, set the Browser Mode to Internet Explorer 8. The Document Mode should be Internet Explorer 8, too. In addition, make sure that your web page has DOCTYPE.

    Hi Peter,

Yes that is what I did in IE Developer Tools. I was trying to inform you that in IE8 Compaibility View it does not work. Is that not a supported level? Most IE8’s come installed with that as the default setting.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi glford,

In a test environment, when the Browser Mode is IE8 and the Document Mode is IE8 and on a fresh install of IE8, we are unable to reproduce the reported behavior. The DOCTYPE is expected to be set, too. The Dcoument Mode is not expected to be set to Quirks.
