Vertical Scrolling gird

Is there an way to scroll the grid vertical with a swipe of touch pad without using the the scroll bar?

Hello DavidSimmons,

Scrolling through jqxGrid works with touch pad when you are using it equivalently to a mouse scroll (the way to do this is dependant on the device itself).

On a side note, similar functionality is available to jqxGrid on mobile devices. You can check out the mobile demo.

I guess what I am asking using Apple touch pads and Apple mouse with the touch scroll and swipe how can I get this to work. Currently you have click the mouse button and use the mouse to swipe which is not really a swipe action to Apple devices.

Unfortunately, swipe is not available for desktop devices.

Using paging=false the vertical scrollBar works correctly with mouse scroll wheel or in my case the Apple mouse has touch area. But the Horizontal scrollBar does not work. Has anyone tested this. The iPad works correctly

Horizontal scrolling in jqxGrid cannot be achieved with the mouse scroll wheel.

Is the horizontal scrolling fixed? By that I mean, Can we have vertical and horizontal scrollings with the touch pad? At the moment horizontal scrolling on touch pad performs a vertical scrolling on the jqxgrid.

Hi Cirrus,

At present, it behaves as it is designed. Mouse Wheel Scrolls up/down if there’s a Vertical scrollbar or left/right if there is no Vertical Scrollbar and only a Horizontal one.
