Upgrade to latest version.

Hello ,

Actually I need to upgrade jqwidgets in my project. Currently I am using jQWidgets v2.6.1 .

If I directly change the jqx files its creating issue.Please guide me regarding this.

Hello Apeksha,

You should also change the .css files to the newer ones.

Apart from this, there have been some breaking changes in recent versions. You may find out more about them in Release History.

I am attempting to upgrade from 2.4.0 to 2.8 and the following line in my code…

$(“#jqxgrid”).jqxGrid(‘url’,url);

produces…

Invalid property: url

Any thoughts on why this mioght be happening?

Hi Terry,

jqxGrid does not have a property or method called “url” so I suppose that is the issue.
In addition, there are a lot of things changed in the last 11 releases. You may also see the Release Histroy.

Actually I can’t update my .css files as I have done a lot of changes in that according to my requirement.
Is there is any other way to do that.
