Special Grid Values Not Displaying

Hi,

I have a text column where the value of the column is enclosed in < and >. For example, this is my column value: <Test>Test2

Oddly when the grid displays this it removes the <Test> value and simply displays the Test2

However, when the cell is edited the original value is re-displayed.

Is this something that can be fixed?
