Line Series Demo fails w/ data change

I’m not sure what’s going on but if I run the line series demo as provided it works just fine. If I make a minor change to the data file that it reads (sampledata/nasdaq_vs_sp500.txt), it breaks. I’ve tried adding in a line with data for a new day. I’ve tried just removing the last line from the line. In both cases, the resultant plot appears to start plotting from January 1900. I’m new to the framework so it’s quite possible I’m doing something wrong. Anyone have any idea what might be going on here?

At a minimum if someone could confirm I’m not crazy. It should just be a matter of deleting the last line of the sampledata/nasdaq_vs_sp500.txt and running the line series demo.

Hello CSB,

Please make sure there is no new line after the last line of data in the file.
