jqxWindow does not support windows 8

jqxWindow close button does not function. When I click on the [x] of the window, the window does not close.

The sample works fine on our side with the latest version of Chrome – 24.0.1312.52 m. I tested it with Chrome running on Windows 8 (x86 and x64).

As Sony VAIO Duo 11 is a touch-screen device, you will have to tap the ‘X’ instead of clicking it.

Yes you are right. As long as the Windows 8 with touch screen, you only can use the ‘touch-tap’ method.

Do you have any idea to support for mouse click on future? Thanks.

On touch devices, we support events like ‘touchstart’, ‘touchend’, ‘touchmove’. We will consider supporting mouse events on such devices in the future. However, I cannot provide you a time-frame.
