Authorjqwidgets on Opera 12.10 Posts

Hi all,
I’m the newbie of jqwidgets. I’m doing some tests with jqwidget UI, it worked well on IE, Firefox and Chrome. However, I cannot select or change the filter of the grid, the button group is not accessible too… I double check the demo on jqwidgets website, the results are the same. All the control is not accessible (cannot change the value, click the buttongroup, checkbox…)
I’m using Opera 12.10 with some extensions like firebug, xdebug,…
Could you please help to give me the advice on this?
Thanks and best regards,
GiapHi Giap,
We are aware of that issue and we will include a fix for it in the next release scheduled for the next week.
We also fixed the issue on our website.Best Regards,

http://www.jqwidgets.comDear Sir,
Is there any releases that fix this issue? I checked the release history but could not found any information about this issue!
Thanks and regards,
GiapHi Giap,
The latest version is from Oct-17. We don’t have new releases since then. As soon as we have a new version, we will update the Release History page, will post a blog post and also will post on Twitter and Facebook. You can subscribe to any of these(see: http://www.jqwidgets.com/follow/).

http://www.jqwidgets.comHi, I just downloaded jQWidgets and noticed it doesn’t work on Opera. For example the combobox on this page, http://www.jqwidgets.com/jquery-widgets-demo/demos/jqxcombobox/index.htm#demos/jqxcombobox/settings.htm, is not displayed.
Is this Opera issue indeed still not resolved?
Thanks,
RaoulHi Raoul,
We do support Opera. The topic here is almost 1 year old. As you know, Opera is now Webkit based, too.
We do not experience any issues with Opera on that demo when we run it on a web server. We test with Opera 15.Best Regards,

http://www.jqwidgets.comThanks for the quick reply!
Yes, I checked the Opera version and it is actually not the latest, so I figured this could be the problem.
Minor glitches are ok but I like to avoid for example a combobox not being displayed at all.
I was just searching on your website, do you have a full browser compatability overview on your website?
Thanks,
RaoulHi Raoul,
Of course we have! We are unfortunately not aware what could be the issue on your side. If you provide more information, we will be able to test.

http://www.jqwidgets.comHi again,
I am quite sure it is the older Opera version on my end that does not display the combobox. That is the only issue I found so far, so no other minor issues.
But could you post a link to that browser compatability page?
Thanks,
RaoulHi Raoul,
Here’s the page: http://www.jqwidgets.com/jquery-widgets-documentation/
