When I hover over a data point in my line graph in Firefox, the tooltip with the information displays for a few seconds and then leaves.

In Chrome, IE9, and IE8, it displays for a split second, then disappears, then reappears, on and off.

Is this a bug in jqxChart, or is there some workaround that I can do? Thanks.

    UPDATE:

In IE8, I get an error saying that jqxChart.js is not a valid Javascript library. Which means no matter what I do on my end, it won’t work.

Did you fix jqxChart at all to be compatible with IE8?

    Hi snowfi6916,

We can’t reproduce the reported behavior with the latest version(2.4.2). In addition, jqxChart.js is not a valid file, the file’s name is jqxchart.js. It is compatible with IE8, too. The rendering engine used in IE7 and IE8 is VML. For IE9, IE10, Chrome, FF, Opera, Safari it uses SVG or HTML5 rendering engine.

    Best Regards,

I rechecked the error and it does say “jqxchart.js”. My bad.

I can’t reproduce the tooltip error on my computer either. It is happening to someone else, and only on their computer, and only for Chrome and IE. I have set the toolTipHideDelay really high (like 100000), and it still flashes on and off on his computer. And I know I have the latest version of jqxWidgets (2.4.2). Any ideas as to why this would be happening? Because I can’t reproduce it on my machine, I don’t know where to start…

Another question: I would like to have my chart displayed in the center of the page, even when I resize the window. Is there a CSS property I can define when the chart is created so that it will automatically center the chart even when I resize it?
