Initially hidden column can't be made visible?

I’m initializing a grid with some columns having { hidden: true; }

I want to be able to show/hide columns, with some columns initially visible and some initially hidden.

But the columns that are initially defined with { hidden: true; } don’t seem to even exist:

$(‘#grid1’).jqxGrid(‘iscolumnvisible’, ‘column1’);
TypeError: Cannot read property ‘hidden’ of null

Thank you for the feedback.

I tested the reported behavior and I confirm that there’s an issue with hiding/showing columns caused by the columns UI virtualization. The issue will be resolved for the next release.
