Like this example.
I choose data on different pages and only get ‘undefined’.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello qx5,

When using virtual mode only the data from the current page is loaded.
You can see this by calling the getrows method of the grid.
Here is your Example updated.

That is why calling getrowdata with an id from another page will return ‘undefined`.
