how to export data into pdf

hello,

I have used jqxGrid for long time and it is working fine…but i need to export data to pdf and i checked in demo regarding exportdata to xls,json…etc.. it is very usefull..finally i need to export data to pdf, but there is no function for pdf to export..will you please provide me solution..

The Data Export options which we support are demonstrated in this demo: http://www.jqwidgets.com/jquery-widgets-demo/demos/jqxgrid/dataexport.htm?arctic. We do not support any other options or customizations. We also do not support PDF, Image or other data types as export options.

Is there a way to add a title or header in the PDF when the PDF is created?

The documentation doesn’t specify it but you can’t export PDF and get the data out – it returns an object, not a string representing the object.

I presume that the conversion of the object to a PDF is carried out on the server and so this only actually works if you use the jqwidgets server.

PDF export is essentially broken and the documentation needs to be updated accordingly

No server is needed for PDF export. If it is used as in our demo, it will work. If it does not on your side, then please share a sample which demonstrates the issue.

Excel export runs quickly and produces a text string as expected

Pdf export is incredibly slow and produces and object. What are you supposed to do with that?
