I have a working dropdown list, but upon updating the choice the id is not being updated.
I was looking on previously posted solutions and saw this answer directing the poster to

    http://www.jqwidgets.com/jquery-widgets-demo/demos/jqxgrid/gridkeyvaluescolumnwitharray.htm?web as a working example.

this is a good example and I’d like to study, but it is a display only item and does not allow me to see the code that makes it work.

I am unable to find this example on the jqwidigets website, can you provide me the menu selections necessary to get to this example? i.e. demos/jqxgrid/columns/foreign key columns….

    Thanks
    Edwin

    Hi Edwin,

The sample is available in the Grid’s Demos and is also included in the download package in the demos/jqxgrid folder.

    COME ON PETER

Telling me to look in the grid demo’s is NOT an answer to my question. Where in grid demos, I’ve been clicking on items and am stuck, under a timeline and frustrated.
I specifically asked where is it.

This is not what I expected when I paid for support. It’s like your intentionally giving the shortest answer possible.
If I responded to my customers this was, I probably get fired.

    Hi Edwin,

I wrote you 2 places where to look for the example. I do not know what kind of customer you are. As far as I know, in the Forum you should expect answers only from other Community members and Sorry if you do not like my responses. if you are a paid customer, the support is by e-mail as you probably know. In addition, when you go to the link which you posted, you can simply right-click with your mouse and click “View Source” to see the demo’s source. The exact path to that Demo in the Demos section is: jqxGrid>Editing>Custom DropDownList Column. Btw, there are other demos about Foreign Columns which you can find when you expand the Columns section. Hope you will find them – Foreign Key Column and Keys/Values Column.

    Best Regards,
