    Hello,

When we are trying to Download the grid data into Excel file (xls).

We are facing few issues here

    1. Inconsistent formatting for the header row in the downloaded excel file (say columns from 17 to end header(row 1) loosing its format).

    2. Colors/Formatting for the complete data is lost.

    3. When we trying to open the downloaded excel file, we are getting the prompt saying that
“The file format and extension of “Sheet.xls” don’t match. The file could be corrupted or unsafe. Unless you trust its source, don’t open it. Do you want to open it anyway?”

Can you please help us in the above issues

    Thanks in advance

    Regards,
    Rajkumar

    Hi Hristo,

Thank you for your immediate response.

1 & 2 is expected behavior means, its known issue (or) planned in any up-coming release (or) any work around

    3. We are getting the mentioned error when we are trying to open the downloaded file from file explorer (directly by double clicking). Also when we try to read the excel file programmatically using ExcelReaderFactory(in C#) we are getting file corrupted error.

    Thanks in advance,

    Regards,
    Rajkumar
