Hello,

we did an update to 2.5 and get an error message ‘Please, add references to the following module(s): jqxmenu.js’ even on pages which do not use any menues.

Hi Karlheinz,

If you use jqxGrid, then you should add jqxMenu, too. It is required by jqxGrid: jquery-grid-getting-started.htm.

Hi Kalrheinz,

I don’t think that is a breaking change, because the jqxmenu.js is required by jqxGrid since the first release of jqxGrid(the file is included in all Grid samples) and that information is available also in the Grid’s help documentation(“Getting Started” help topic) in the list of required files. If you want to disable the menu and your Grid is without sorting, filtering and grouping, set the columnsmenu property to false and the jqxmenu.js will no longer be a required file.
