    Hi,

Is it possible to assign the grid to a ComboBox like you can a DropDownButton ?

The reason being is that I would like a user to be able to start typing in the field and then when clicking the dropdown it displays the other data.

So almost like an immediate filter.

    Thanks

    Hi realtek,

No, it is not possible. DropDownButton is with custom dropdown content, ComboBox, DropDownList and DateTimeInput are not.

Thank you Peter, is it likely to be included in a future release?

I guess meanwhile I will have to have the user using an extra step to then use the filter fields on the grid.

Thanks Peter. I wonder if I can just display a div with a jqxGrid in it below a normal input field once the user hits return and filter the grid based on the input field to simulate the same behaviour as a dropdown grid. Its essentially the same thing happening.

    Hi realtek,

The features and jquery widgets which we have are demonstrated in the demos. You can always try to implement something on your own or make changes where you will find appropriate and of course according to the terms defined in the EULA.
