Date filter allows characters like 'a' and 'p'

Hi Support,

We encountered an issue in jqxgrid date filter. We are using jqxDatetimeinput for Date filter.
Everything is working as expected, but date filter text box (below less than comparer) allows specific characters (‘a’ & ‘p’) in it. This should not happen, user has to select date from calender.

How to restrict to enter these characters ‘a’ & ‘p’ in the date filter. Please help

Hello arunthatham,

You can try the following code which restricts entering a,p and ' :

$('.filter').keydown(function (event) {
    var keycode = (event.keyCode ? event.keyCode : event.which);
    if (keycode == '65' || keycode == '80' || keycode == '222') {                    
        event.preventDefault();
    }
});
