Hello nikolayalmaty,

When the value is set to null writing in the text input is forbidden. Use the calendar to set the date instead.

I want use this field for time format only.
Calendar can not choose time. I need type time value from keyboard. What can I do?

Hi nikolayalmaty,

You can try this way:
```
            $("#jqxdatetimeinput").jqxDateTimeInput({ width: '250px', height: '25px', showFooter: true, formatString: 'HH:mm', value: new $.jqx._jqxDateTimeInput.getDateTime(new Date()) });
```
Only the current time will be shown and it will be editable.

Thank you, but this field can be empty. I’ll try to use maskedInput.
