Hi blinkins0n,

The image is displayed if the data is loading via ajax and is not yet downloaded from the server. If the data is loaded it is not displayed. It works with any browser on my side. You can test in on our web site, too by clicking the Binding to XML demo. If the data is not downloaded or cached, you should see the loader image. You can see my simple test with the Chrome browser:
