Why can’t the width for a button be set in em’s.

Example:
$(‘ele’).jqxButton({width:’3em’})

Because we do not support em’s.

How come some of your widgets support em’s, like JqxInput.

Hi Patrick,

It is explained in the documentation and demonstrated in the demos how to use the widgets. I am sorry, if you expected they to work in a different way.
We do not support ems in any widgets and we never supported officially ems. If this worked somewhere, then it’s more a side-effect than a built-in behavior. For now, we do not have plans to support them in the future versions, too.
