Sometimes its important to consider the basics. ScrollBars are used everywhere. You may have them on this page (depending on your screen size). There’s no question that we need a jQuery ScrollBar widget. Yet a couple of months ago we were amazed to see how hard it was to find a good jQuery ScrollBar. Our search resulted in finding different implementations (some of them quite weird) but overall not quite what we think developers need. We decided to implement a high quality jQuery ScrollBar widget from scratch and we called it jqxScrollBar. It’s small (only 12.9kb), simple and very easy to use. You can add it to any HTML page and start processing scroll events by binding to the ‘valuechange’ event.
