Hi I notice something interesting. I notice that in jqxgrid you can only have statusbar or aggregates and not both. But in jqxdatatable you can have both. See the jsfiddle
That is how it works in jqxGrid. The DataTable is a different UI component with much different features which work in a different way, too. It is up to you which one of these you will use.
