trying to consolidate the date part

I am trying to achieve the following in a jqxwidget table:

Name    Date

A        07/15/2015

A        08/16/2016

A        07/15/2015

I am looking to have something like this after consolidating the Name and latest date:

Name   Date

A      08/16/2016   // most recent date shows next to name A and a dropdown next to the date which will show other past dates.

Is there a way I can achieve the above thing in jqxgrid?

Even though I have included reference to jqxgrid.edit.js , I am getting the following message in my webapp:

This is basically for editable : true option.

This message could appear for different reasons.
It is possible to cache the page, some old library and also most likely incorrect path reference.

Yes it is possible. You need to set only previous settings.
(hint: do not forget to change the source to the first “adapter”)
