Treegrid with Filtering

Hi,

Any idea this feature will be implemented/added anytime soon? I am planning to buy license but for the first feature we are intending to use filter/search and show child (or parent when child matches filter criteria) is very important for us.

At present, we have no such development plans about TreeGrid widget. Filtering displays only items which match the filter criteria.

Thanks for the reply. I wonder why this was not planned for development considering (from what I see) many requests for this feature. From your explanation may be filter functionality is like how it should be, we can call it search or whatever with this feature.

Hi jqwidgets_user,

The feature was requested by several users for 1+ years period. It is not frequently requested feature and as we cannot implement everything, we put our resources on things like Typescript & Angular 2 support, because we receive requests about these every day. We will consider adding a TreeGrid Search option in the future versions and you will see Roadmap item when we plan that.
