Treegrid filtermode Simple removing 'Search' text after changing dataAdapter

Hi noticed a issue with the jqxtreegrid where i have a filtermode simple enabled and on button click I am dynamically setting a datafield grouping by calling the dataAdapter source again.

The grouping works, but the jqxtreegrid filtermode ‘Simple’ has a text next to the input field called as ‘Search’. This text disappears right after i change the data source upon clicking the button.

Please advise a workaround.

Hello dan123,

You change the whole structure of the jqxTreeGrid.
The records should be in a flattened data structure.
I would like to suggest you look at this example:
