I am using the theme builder tool. I would like to start with a default theme for example ‘Metro Dark’. When I am in ‘Settings’ tab, I clicked ‘Metro Dark’ to import the color. I then made changes on different settings. I then went to ‘Get Theme’ tab and click on ‘Generate CSS…’. The theme result is ‘Metro Dark’ without any changes that I made. How do I customize a theme from ‘Metro Dark’?

    Hi houstoniasian,

It’s not theme metro dark. It’s the theme and at its bottom are defined your custom settings.

Maybe I was not clear earlier. I imported the color from Metro Dark. I made changes. Then I went to ‘Get Theme’, I named my theme as ‘custom’. I then generate CSS. The resulting CSS has all the colors of Metro Dark. None of my changes applies. I want to know how I can get my custom theme starting out with ‘Metro Dark’ color and then apply some of my own customized colors?

    Hi houstoniasian,

We cannot reproduce such behavior. The generated theme is generated from your colors. They will be in the bottom of the CSS.
