Or maybe its just strange CSS behavior period.
Scrollbars were not working correctly any longer on my site (http://www.wardialers.org) so I downloaded the new version of JQWidgets and sure enough that solved my scrollbar issues.
The problem now is, it seems like CSS is broken. I am attempting to use:
<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”./jqwidgets/styles/jqx.dark.css” type=”text/css” />
– which is what I was using before, and you can verify that the CSS file exists by appending it to the above URL – but it does not work. As a matter of fact, no CSS style within the directory works. I even adjusted permissions of the CSS’s thinking that might have been it – but no dice.
I really have no idea what *I* could have done when uploading the new files that would have caused this to happen… But I also cannot imagine that this is a JQW bug because plenty of other people would have noticed it by now.
Any thoughts? I’m ugly right now, and I don’t want to be ugly.. I want to be JQX.DARK! 🙂

additionally – I do have theme: ‘dark’, specified in my styling for the grid and window….
Hi mwilliams0156,
I have tested the dark theme on the grid on the new version of the ‘jqxGrid’ but I was unable reproduce the situation you encounter.
I would suggest you to double check your code and to have a look at this demo:https://www.jqwidgets.com/jquery-widgets-demo/demos/jqxgrid/index.htm#demos/jqxgrid/showcase.htm

https://www.jqwidgets.comI restored my site to the earlier version and am going to try upgrading only the core bits rather than the entire jqwidgets folders and see if I have better luck. Thank you!
Also – now the site is back to the point in which I was having the scrollbar issue only – if you want to have a look:
Edit by Admin – ***Removed Link to third party site***
The code never changed – but the scrollbar functionality did.
Thanks for such an awesome (and free for non-comm use) product!!!
So I restored my site, and then only uploaded the new version of the JQWIDGETS folder – and that solves my scrollbar issues.
SUPPORT: are there any other files that typically should be updated as well? I do not want to upload the whole package for fear of screwing up my CSS again….
?
Thank you!
Hi mwilliams0156,
There shouldn’t be a problem when updating the whole package also its important to update the whole package because sometimes there are changes made not only to the component but to the CSS as well.
