Been busy for a while now to get the status of a checkbox.
```
var checkbox = $('#mycheckbox').jqxCheckBox();
alert(checkbox[0]['checked']);
```
Without using bind before submitting a form i want to get the status of the checkbox (true or false).

How do i do this?

The code should be:

var checked = checkbox.jqxCheckBox('checked');
```
