Server Side Filter Issue

Hi all.

i have created a grid with header filter “server side filter” in ASP.net

all work grate; but the problem is that while i typing on column header to filter the data the    server post back “fire filter action” many time during the typing.

so is there any solution to make the post back “fire the filter action” when the user finished the typing or after 100 seconder of finished the typing.

Hi hamza,

The filter in the filter row is applied when the user stops writing. The delay is 300 milliseconds.

thank you for your reply;

but how can i increase the delay value to be 1000 instead of 300 milliseconds.

because i’am using the filter to retrieve data from server side; so when the user stop writing and then continue the writing after a while the server post back twice.

The delay cannot be changed at present. I will add a work item about the missing functionality.

Hi hamza,

The delay cannot be changed at present. You cannot change the behavior of the built-in functionality, too.
