    Hello all,

I saw that the jqxgrid can be disabled entirely changing the property but there is a problem when selectionmode=’checkbox’, to be more general, even when disabled, some events can be launched using mouse clicks, in other words, there is no traping for mouse in some cases.

First case the selection column (checkbox) still editable and can be modified, if custom column is drawed with a button or other html element within it, the clicks still functional.

There is a way to avoid events or to trap them in all cases?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi dpibt,

If you implemented some custom rendering within the Grid cells, the Grid would not be able to disable your custom elements. It can disable only the elements drawn by the Grid. If you have such logic, do the necessary checks for the “disabled” property. We will check on our side whether the report about the Checkbox Selection column is valid or not.

    Best Regards,
