    Hi there

Thx for release 2.4. Looks great 🙂

I have a question regarding the chart SaveAs… functionality.

In my application I use jQWidgets for the frontend. I show the user nice charts. I now also have a functionality in my application that allows the user to download the same informations as a PDF-report. This PDF is then generated by the backend application.

I was now wondering if it is possible to use jQWidgets to generate “hidden” the charts to be included in the PDF report. For example is a webbrowser necessary? In the documentation it says something about an “Export server”. What would that be?

    Thanks & cheers,
    Peter

    Hi Peter,

By default, the Chart’s export functionality is hosted on the jQWidgets web site. The exportServer parameter enables you to specify a different path to the Exporter’s php file. jqxChart currently enables export to images only. Web Browser is necessary as there’s a server part in the exporting functionality.
