Matching active ribbon color to active tab color

I am using left vertical ribbons within tabs that are positioned across the top. Each tab has its own set of ribbons. ui-darkness is the theme which makes the current active tab orange in color. Gorgeous. I would like to do the same with the ribbons; make the active ribbon the same color as the active tab. Currently the theme shows the current ribbon as #262626. What is the best way to change that to whatever color the active tab is set as?

I had already looked at http://jqwidgets.com/themebuilder before posting, but could not find a way to import the ui-darkness theme, nor did I see Ribbon in the samples shown on the page.

Any other ideas?

Hi jweinpert,

Ui themes contained images for overlays.
To make the active tab in same color as the ribbon add to the classes for active tabs background-image:none;.
This workaround may help you.
