I have several pages that looks similar, one table on each. The columns is different. Is it possible to loop over the datafields? For instance so I can do one general function for the “Find Record” dialog?

    Hello MrBjorn,

Do you mean search for a record in all the grids? Or are you referring to the grid source datafields? Please clarify.

Search for a record in a grid.

i saw now that your nice jqxTreeGrid implement Find functionality in general. I simple want to have this functionality also in the jqxGrid as well 🙂 Its nice have it directly in the toolbar also, like in TreeGrid.

I aslo saw there are a number fo small detaisl differing between the Grid and TreGrid. like this with getting the total number of rows for instance. Would be nice if you flattened out jxTreeGrid so it had the same syntax as the jqxGrid.

    Hi MrBjorn,

    1) Please check out the following forum post for clarification: http://www.jqwidgets.com/community/topic/grid-all-columns-search/#post-56527.

    2) jqxGrid and jqxTreeGrid are different widgets and that is why their behaviour and API differ. We have no plans to uniform them.
