    OK, I understand what Loader is meant to be for, but I have to ask…

    Does it run asynchronously? IE, Can I launch this, then get it to run say an Active Directory query and still show the spinning logo?

    Hello DMO,

    Yes, this can be achieved. In fact, the example Loader with jqxGrid shows how to close the loader after a grid has been loaded by an asynchronous request.
