Hello,
Did you consider Knockback (http://kmalakoff.github.com/knockback/) at the time you choosed Knockout ?
Just mention it as it is quite interesting to my mind, combining Backbone and Knockout plus other stuff and as a result, brings real added values instead of using Knockout alone.Regards
Hi Kynao,
Thank you for the suggestion.
We’ll consider integration with Knockback and/or Backbone in the future. Our first choice was Knockout as it is quite popular, easy for usage, well-documented and we also like it very much.

http://www.jqwidgets.comHi,
isn’t Knockback supposed to be a bridge between Backbone and KnockoutJS? We’re evaluating different libraries for a greenfield project and are currently leaning towards Backbone since it supposedly excels with ease of integration with RESTful services (Addy Osmani – Understanding MVVM). However, using two-way databinding with KnockoutJS would add icing to the cake.Geekdave describes two-way data binding using KnockoutJS and Backbone and from his examples the Knockback bridging is fairly obvious.
What’s your comment on this? Frow what Geekdave describes would there be any problmens using your KnockoutJS integration in such a setup?

PatrikHi Patrick,
Unfortunately, we haven’t tested Backbone and Knockback with our product and I can’t say whether there are any integration problems or not.

http://www.jqwidgets.comHello Peter,
But outside of actual jQWidgets scope (or in the scope of considering integration in the future), what is your thinking about the provided description, any comments ?
Best Regards
I haven’t worked with these libs and I can’t say much about any of them.

http://www.jqwidgets.comThanks for a swift reply Peter,
we’ll go ahead with our evaluation and keep jQWidgets in mind. If we end up doing any prototyping with KnockoutJS, Knockback and Backbone i’ll try to remember to post our findings on jQW iteroperability.Regards
PatrickHas there been any work in integrating the widgets with Knockback recently?
Hi n_vikram,
No, we haven’t worked on that. We are going to improve our Knockout integration in the upcoming months.
