jqxNotification – Change the message programmatically

Instead of putting it in the div i would like to alter the message displayed through jqxNotification. Just like you can set the title of jqsWindow like
$("#popupWindow").jqxWindow('setTitle', 'Edit Adjustments');

is there a similar method in jqsNotification like –
$("#messageNotification").jqxNotification('setMessage', 'This is the new message')

Hello userdch,

Unfortunately, there is no such a method in jqxNotification’s API. However you can alter the message through jQuery’s .text() or .html() without any issues.

Unfortunately that doesn’t work. The text or html function destroy the icon and the x in the template at the second change :

The solution :

then

$(“#jqxNotification”).find(“div”).first().text($(“#name”).val());
