jqxGrid If No result found then remove horizontal scroll bar

Hello,

We have jqxGrid with rows coming from dynamically.So When we have no data then jqxGrid showing “No Result Found”.
We need to help to remove horizontal scroll bar if jqxgrid have empty data.

Could you please help us for?

Hi Alpesh,

The horizontal scroll bar is displayed when your columns overflow. This does not depend on whether you’ve loaded data or not. You can’t remove it.

thanks for reply.

We want to remove because we have set custom ‘showemptyrow’ with add button link. so when we scroll than our custom empty row message and addbutton will be hide or invisible.for this reason we need to disable scroll bar.
Is there any other way to disable horizontal scroll bar using jquery event ?

Hi Alpesh,

No, there’s no way to hide, disable or do anything with the horizontal bar. It’s shown automatically when your columns overflow. If they don’t overflow, it won’t be displayed.

Hi Alpesh,

There are no scroll events in jqxGrid. You should however know whether your columns overflow. Each column has “width” and your Grid has “width” property too. If the sum of the column widths is bigger than your Grid’s width, then your columns overflow.
