jqxForm jqxInput update label value

Hi,

Example of label and the value of the label

username 'John Doe (Change)'

If a JqxForm shows label, can an event be fired to update the label to become a text box?
This way the value of the label can be updated.

What is the preferred way of accomplishing this?

Hi,

You can use the form’s template entity type ‘custom’ for this job. When the type for the template is set to custom you should have init function.

The demos is not giving the expected behaviour.

Initially I want to show only a label and a value.

name of the label: username
value of the label: John Doe (‘Change’)

When the user clicks ‘Change’ I want the label to be change into a text box.

Possible, how?
