jqxdatetimeinput – any way to suppress automatically assigning a value?

By design, jqxdatetimeinput defaults to today. If we initialize the value to null, as soon as the user starts typing, it fills in today’s date and the current time. Many of our users would prefer no automation of the value (more like the HTML5 input type=’date’ behavior: html5_input_type_date). Is there a way to achieve that with jqxdatetimeinput?

Hello pauld,

You could initially set with null value and on that way it will be empty at the beginning.
Please, take a look at this example.

On the other side, I would like to suggest you an another our product Smart HTML Elements – DateTimePicker.
